I think his art is wonderful. And the lessons that he taught, although I didn't feel I fully understood him at the time, have stuck with me, and even now all these years later I still think about the things that he said during those drawing classes. His whole approach to art, to thinking about art, looking at art, and confronting the challenges posed by the creative process, have influenced my own creative work significantly. We're fairly new to the area too, so we're still working on building a local audience, and we usually have to convince people that they might be interested in this music. Looks as if Tony Rooley and Emma Kirkby have paved the way for us in your case, bless them! So if you're free on Friday night, (10/2/09) come on out to St. Thomas's church in Slaterville.
